COPES September NEWS 2026
SUPPORT GROUP & COFFEE MORNING
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 5th.
From 10 to 1 pm at the Ekco Social & Sports Club
Thornford Gardens, Southend. SS2 6PU
We are looking forward to welcoming Natalie Darby again, to our September Support Group and Coffee Morning, this time joined by colleagues, Sophie, Denise and Charlotte, to chat with us. They want to listen to our experiences of the support that we have received, since being diagnosed, and what has helped us to feel ‘listened to’. Also, what would have helped us to feel more in control of our treatment & care. Three of our guests will be joining us informally for most of our session but the discussions will take place from about 11.00 am. We’ll do our usual news and raffle session just before. COPES pens available @ £1.50 cash

Both are the founders of COPES. This adds to our standing and puts us in a stronger position for communications and fundraising.
LET’S GET MORE ACTIVE!
A COPES member has passed on details of a gentle but thorough online exercise and dance class that takes place on a Friday morning at 9 am. All are welcome.
She says she really enjoys the class and finds it helpful. You’ll need to install ZOOM.
