Our talk with Natalie, Sophie, Charlotte and Denise at the September Coffee Morning was very lively, informative and worthwhile. Natalie has sent the feedback which will be available at our next Coffee Morning. Briefly, though, the chat was extremely positive and heartfelt. It centred around what we appreciate in the way of support and communication with the professionals involved in our care. This work will be shared with ICJ colleagues at MSE hospitals, UCL partners and Macmillan and will feed into collaboration with Bridges Self-Management. This will help to inform training offered to groups of NHS staff working across cancer care in Southend. Thank you to Natalie, Sophie, Charlotte and Denise for facilitating such an interesting discussion.
NEXT MONTH – November 7th – A TALK BY LIZ LAWRENCE ON GENOMICS. We’ll look forward to hearing what Liz’s latest project has in store for gynae cancer patients.
