THANKS FROM US ALL AT COPES…..

Many Thanks to the family and friends of Jan Slatford for their wonderful ‘In Memoriam’ donations to COPES. They have donated £370 in total

Also, many thanks to the members and Captain of The HDB Golf Society, who chose COPES as their charity of the year last year. It was wonderful to welcome their Outgoing Captain, Colin Goody to our last COPES Coffee Morning. He presented a generous cheque of £1,382 to our exec and members. One of our members, Dee, introduced Colin to the idea of giving to our charity, in recognition of the support she has received from COPES. Dee, (centre), pictured with Colin from HBD Golf Society and the COPES Exec Committee.

Colin said that he had been impressed by the way that COPES, as a small charity, puts all the fundraising to use in supporting women with gynaecological cancers, in a very practical and empathetic way. No funds are used on admin or salaries because all the organisers are volunteers, all have been diagnosed with gynaecological cancers at one time or another.
