Our Fundraising has really made a difference to the hospital brachytherapy department this month.
The fundraisers for the Brachytherapy Treatment machine and the Venezia Applicator, for targeted treatment of Cervical Cancer, were treated to a fascinating insight into the accuracy and effectiveness of the new equipment, which is already making the three days of treatment required for women, much more effective and comfortable with quick feedback as to the results of the treatment. Southend is, we think, only one of two hospitals in the country to offer this. It could improve outcomes for women by 25-45%

The fabulous Dinner Dance this year is at The Roslin Beach Hotel, on Thursday April 26th from 6.30 pm. A scrumptious three course meal, a disco, a great raffle and a chance to celebrate the work we all do. Tickets are £30 each. Why not bring some friends and book a table?
