ALSO, well done to Stacey for organising such a fabulous day in memory of Leianne. It was great to see some of Leianne’s family and friends there too.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. HEROIC MUD RUNNERS. THANK YOU!

It certainly has been a month for unusual ways of fundraising/awareness-raising. On May 19th, Kate, Chris’ daughter, spoke to her friends Victoria, who organised it along with Laura and Danielle, and they did a sponsored Nuclear Mud Run in aid of COPES. They did phenomenally well, raising £185 between them. This possibly ranks alongside sky diving (Mo) and abseiling (Donna) as the most extreme form of fundraising we can remember.

They are all heroes! Well done girls. What an amazing effort!
