HAPPY NEW YEAR!
OUR FIRST SUPPORT GROUP/COFFEE MORNING OF THE NEW YEAR WILL BE AT THE EKCO CLUB, (SS2 6PU) NEW MEMBERS VERY WELCOME.

DINNER DANCE WEDS 24/4/24 AT THE ROSLIN BEACH HOTEL
FROM 7.00 till LATE
We will soon be selling tickets for our fabulous Dinner Dance.
All guests and supporters of COPES are most welcome to attend. We’d love to see you. Come alone (many of us are!) or with a party of up to 12.
TICKETS are £40 per person, to include a delicious three course meal, a DJ and dancing.

Congratulations to Denise W, who was delighted to win the beautiful quilt made by a COPES supporter. Her kind donation raised almost £100 for COPES funds.
RAFFLE PRIZES
We would like to offer a big thanks to our members and supporters for their kind donations of raffle prizes, especially Sarah, who is Anne G’s sister. Sarah has sent us several boxes of lovely raffle prizes since Ann passed away, over 3 years ago. We thank her for her generosity and support of COPES in Anne’s memory. We have had several donations for raffle prizes lately and at the moment we cannot store any more. We will bring a good selection of quality items to our coffee mornings and the Dinner Dance.
STORAGE
At present Sue, Wendy and Paz are storing a whole range of COPES items at home. These include Raffle Prizes, documentation, Christmas cards, booklets and info leaflets for our awareness raising talks to women’s groups, collecting boxes and COPES merchandise, amongst several other items. It is getting to the point where we cannot manage to fit any more items under our stairs, in spare wardrobes, loft etc. We would be eternally grateful for any offers of a spare cupboard or any space that you can offer, to store the items in.

MEMBER NEWS: We have recently heard from Sally G and Margaret VK, both of whom cannot make it to COPES meetings any longer. Both have been hospitalised recently and, thankfully, are back at home now. They send their best wishes to all their COPES friends.
We wish them, and all of our members, including those who cannot get to meetings in person, a happy and healthy 2024.
