Our December Support Group/Coffee Morning is on Saturday December 2nd, in the Women’s Clinic, Nightingale Centre, Southend Hospital, from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be a Christmas Party theme – feel free to wear your Christmas Jumpers!
We will be drawing the raffles at around midday, for the Handmade Quilt – pictured below (tickets £1), a separate raffle will be drawn for a Christmas Hamper and several other gorgeous prizes.
There will also be a last chance this year to help us with our COPES fundraising and buy some reasonably priced COPES charity cards in traditional and various animal designs. (£2.50 for a pack of 10 cards).
Do drop in and say hello! You’re guaranteed a warm welcome.

Great news…..we’re organising another COPES Dinner Dance fundraising evening at the Roslin Beach Hotel on Wednesday April 24th 2024
Tickets will be in the region of £40 and will include a three course meal in a really special setting, a luxury raffle and a DJ until late. Invite friends and book a table!
FUNDRAISING EVENT…….
Our thanks go to all the members who ran stalls and helped to make the Christmas Bazaar a really enjoyable occasion. It was a rainy morning and turnout was a bit disappointing but we raised a wonderful £360 for COPES funds.
Well done to all who were able to support this event.
Christmassy Clay Cottage
There was an enjoyable afternoon held at Clay Cottage Pottery Painting Afternoon Tea recently. The members and their families who attended all had a lovely time. The finished, fired pots that were created will be ready to pick up at the December Coffee Morning (see above for details). Thanks to Sue for organising this popular event, which made £100 for COPES funds. Another similar event is planned during next year.
