COPES IN AUGUST
Where else can you get a superb Saturday morning therapeutic massage, with no booking – and for free?
It’s so kind of Jan & Yuen to give us wonderful therapeutic treatments at Coffee Mornings. Both of them give their services out of the kindness of their hearts. We really love what they contribute to COPES.
COPES Future Events
- August 5th and September Coffee Morning on Sept 2nd. New and Nearly new clothes and accessories (+bring and buy). Please bring your own carrier bags and possibly a spare hanger or two.
- October Coffee Morning on Oct 7th. All the usual fun and support, followed by Pottery Painting and afternoon tea. See Sue Soper for details.
- November Coffee Morning on Nov 4th. Christmas Bazaar with many Christmas items, cards etc. plus the usual support and a Grand Christmas Raffle.
In December we are hoping to have a Christmas Afternoon Tea probably at The Cliffs Pavilion, which will be free for COPES members. Friends and family will be charged the cost of the tea.

We will however, be asking for a fully refundable deposit of £5 from everyone, for this and certain other events. This includes COPES members. This will be returned to you when you turn up! This is so we’re not left with bookings that we have to pay for in the event of a no-show on anyone’s part.
Feedback after the COPES Fundraising Committee meeting July 2017:
We meet with representatives from the Hospital Consultants, Management, CNS and Care workers’ teams, four times a year. Here are some of the issues under discussion:-
COPES News, (everyone gets an email monthly Newsletter); Successes and Fundraising News; Requests for Funding; Finance News; The Year’s Spending Plan; The Long Term Spending Plan; Publicity for COPES; Future planning.
