LUNCH at FOOD by JOHN LAWSON
We had a lovely lunch, a special treat for COPES members and guests.
We had heard John Lawson, an internationally known chef, speak at our Health and Wellbeing Day last May and were struck by his inspirational story of recovery from his cancer and the role that food and food preparation and sourcing played in his continuing good health.
He has opened his restaurant in Leigh Road, Leigh on Sea and concentrates on locally sourced, seasonal food, mainly organic and with fabulous veggie and vegan choices.
His food is wonderful, his story is inspirational and his restaurant is very welcoming and a beautiful experience.
We would heartily recommend it to anyone interested in the benefits of beautifully prepared, healthy food with a local twist.
