COPES supports member’s Wellbeing and Health with a range of complementary therapies.
We offer occasional events on many aspects of wellbeing, including workshops and themed sessions at local venues.
We often incorporate relaxation, tai chi and yoga into our coffee mornings. These are all useful in helping recovery, general wellbeing and health. We arrange occasional talks on other health-related subjects.
MacMillan research has shown that gentle exercise, like yoga and tai chi, aids recovery and can have positive effects on the after effects of chemotherapy.
We all benefit from a gentle stroll around the garden, the park or by the sea. It helps our minds and our bodies.
