Therapy is back!

We’re delighted to be able to be exploring new links with two therapists, who we hope will be coming along to our Coffee Morning Support Groups. We’ll meet them at the next couple of Coffee Mornings and introduce them to you.

These two experienced therapists, Kim and Pru, will be able to tailor their therapies to your needs, each of them has experience of and training in several types of supportive complementary therapy to support you emotionally and physically.

Between them they can offer reiki, reflexology, CBT, EFT technique (tapping) and other skills.

We’re still finalising details with them and look forward to welcoming them in the very near future.

All therapies are entirely free, participation is optional and negotiated individually with the therapists. There will be a sign-up sheet at the entrance to the Women’s Clinic or Ekco Club, for you to indicate if you would like to have a session (around 30 minutes) with either Kim or Pru. Sessions may overrun, so they may not get around to seeing you, if you’re lower on the list. First come, first served!

SAVE THE DATE!        COPES EVENT………. “Moving on Morning”.

We are currently planning a wonderful morning for COPES members, whether long-standing or new. It doesn’t matter if you’ve attended COPES events before, all will be most welcome. However, places are likely to be limited so let us know a s a p if you’re interested.

The morning will be fun, a chance to relax and share. Input is designed to support all of us in getting on with life after our diagnoses.

We all have those experiences in common, no matter when we were diagnosed.

We all wonder how to be our best selves after our treatment.

The morning aims to give you hints, to help you to move positively into a new normal.

It will end with a buffet lunch.

It will be on October 19th, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. near The Royals, Southend.

The event is partly sponsored by Leigh Lions Club and is free to all COPES members.

Please let us know if you may be interested, in order to help our planning.
