We also have support galore: free complementary therapies (Heavenly Massages, Angelic Reiki, Reflexology, relaxation); CNS support; chat; free refreshments and cakes (visitors are welcome to make a voluntary donation); a raffle with super prizes and all the latest news.
Therapy Focus: Jan
Jan started doing her therapy with us roughly five years ago. She is fully qualified and offers superb massage, using relaxation and essential oils after a consultation with anyone wishing for a massage. She started doing massage in 2001, after looking around for a more meaningful job. She had previously been working at a solicitor’s in the City. Jan started thinking about what she could do to help people, having had a time of working as a nursing auxiliary at Mile End Hospital on orthopaedic and geriatric wards, in the 1970s. She became fully qualified in massage therapies in 2001.
She found COPES after speaking with a therapist at a spiritualist evening.
It was meant to be!
Her massages are always in demand and are very popular amongst all our ladies. Jan says “I get a great deal of satisfaction, knowing that my massages have given some support and relief to women. That is enough satisfaction for me.”
