Well done to Louise Nariel and her family for organising a fabulous Quiz Evening. This was a really enjoyable evening with lots of laughs and a few puzzled people, which raised, after all expenses were taken out, around £470. This appeared to be a little less than last time because then we had been given tokens from Morrison’s, which we used for the prizes. The takings were almost exactly the same as the previous Quiz Night, which Louise organised in June. Thank you so much to Louise and her daughter, Katie, who worked really hard to raise funds for us.

January 7th 2023. Coffee Morning & Support Group we hope to welcome Nicola Collis, a local Singer-Songwriter to sing to us and explain the songwriting process…we may even compose our own COPES anthem.
February 4th 2023. Coffee Morning/Support Group. Rachel will be joining us. We have an optional talk, for anyone who wishes to attend, by a legal expert, who will give a presentation called ‘Tax, Care and the New Guy’.
A chat about how we can manage the legalities and finances as we get on in life, thinking about possible ways to plan to protect our savings, our homes, in respect to care home fees, wills and other such areas of financial and legal planning.
March 4th 2023 Support Group Coffee Morning. Plans to be announced.
April 1st 2023 Support Group Coffee Morning. Plans to be announced.
April 4th-8th (exact date to be announced) Free Theatre Visit for COPES members, to see ‘ ‘The Jersey Boys’ at The Cliffs Pavilion. COPES members go free. Booking secured with a £20 returnable deposit, Guests are welcome at the full price. Let us know a s a p if you’re interested. Chris needs an idea of numbers to book.
