January Coffee Morning and Support Group

We look forward to welcoming singer/songwriter, Nicola Collis to our January support group….all being well. We also hope to see Caroline again for her calming seated relaxation session. So much to look forward to, in 2023.
OUR RECENT CONSULTATION ON FUTURE MEETINGS:
From our approximately 75 COPES members, we only got 11 responses. As this is not a representative sample for a decision, we’ll be discussing this with the CNS team, also at the next Exec Committee and at the main Committee meeting next month
Of the responses we got, it breaks down like this:

WELL DONE to our CHRISTMAS BAZAAR TEAM!
It was lovely to welcome new members to our Christmas Bazaar and the whole morning was really buzzing. Thanks to all the stall holders. It was great to see a newly diagnosed member winning (and sharing with her Mum) our Christmas Hamper raffle prize.
We would like to sincerely thank Deborah Pocock for her donation of the hamper basket and champagne in memory of her late husband, Mr. Pocock, who was a doctor in the Gynae Oncology department at Southend Hospital.
Our total profit raised for COPES funds was £171.50.
Chris is now busy compiling a list of members (and their guests) who wish to attend the theatre performance of
Jersey Boys at the Cliffs Pavilion (between 4th and 6th incl. April 2023)
It will be a free treat event for COPES members, subject to a £20 refundable deposit to secure the place, in case of cancellation. The full ticket price (of around £50 – estimated) will be payable for any members’ guests. PLEASE REGISTER YOUR INTEREST NOW!
