Bank Transfers to COPES Gynae Oncology Support,

At our Quarterly COPES Meeting at the Hospital, your COPES Executive Committee of Wendy, Jan, Christine, Chris and Sue were re-elected without opposition. We will continue to organise support and events for COPES members into the next year. Watch out for another popular Clay Cottage event later in the year and possibly a pre-Christmas live music brunch at the Cliffs Pavilion….last year’s was popular! However, we are always open to suggestions for new COPES activities, so please let us know if there is anything you’d like us to look into. We have had suggestions of a Quiz Night and a Book Club (perhaps virtual) in the future, which we’re looking into.

We were saddened to hear of the death of Phyl, a long-time COPES member. Phyl was always calm & thoughtful, with a wry sense of humour. She was always very supportive of new members of COPES. Phyl had been bravely coping with illness for quite a while. Our condolences go to Phyl’s family and friends.
