SPECIAL GUESTS at 11.30…….Natalie Darby who is a patient rep for our local hospitals and a cancer patient herself, and Emma Chaplin who many of you will know as the founder of COPES. They are eager to seek your views on an ongoing project in our local hospitals. Here’s what they say about it:-
The “Improving Cancer Journeys” (ICJ) Programme in collaboration with Macmillan and UCL Partners, involves listening to cancer patients, their loved ones, and families within our community. The programme is focused on learning how patients and their families currently experience cancer and identifying where solutions, if required, can be directed.”
I’m sure we can have a great discussion on this subject, identifying the things we appreciate and the things that we would like to see improved.
